hello there folks! i've been on the ipod support site but i just wanted to know if anybody on here could help me, prefably those with ipods themselves. Basically it's only staying on up to 2 hours and then switches itself off and displays an endless list of words such as diskmode, wheel, firewire, remote etc. Does anybody know why it's doing this, do i need it repaired? It's a mini by the way just incase that changes anything!

Hi lahdeedah

I don't really think I am going to be of much help, but you never know :o)

I was thinking about the switching off after 2 hour thing, have you checked in clock and just check that the sleep timer is switched off and not set to go off after 120 mins.
I don't know if maybe you have clicked something on the ipod site whilst your ipod has been connected and that is why these words are coming up? I know I'm not sure of what I am clicking and what some of the boxes I tick mean sometimes, I kinda work by trial and error lol

I'm sorry I can't be of much help but I would suggest sending an e-mail to iPod support and see what they say. I hope it is something that can easily be solved.

Hope you get it sorted :o)
Best Wishes
