Has anybody seen the new league of gentlemen film?  God what a dissapointment.  I cant understand how they created such a brilliant tv show, and the film just fell apart, I didnt laugh once, I thought the eye gouging thing was weird and the confession box scene with the young girl was just crass.

There was inventiveness, I suppose, but none of the brio of the tv show. I hope they get back to form again for their next project.

i am a big fan of the l.o.g. series but am not even interested in the film.the reason being that it is extremely rare that a tv to movie swap ever works.it usually ends up being recycled gags that fans of the series recognise immediately or just downright disappointing which i guess is what has happened with this !

Yeah I was equally disappointed with it also, not enough of the main characters for me. I'm in stiches when I watch the series but I barely managed a chuckle watching this film. For me the opening scene was funny but from then on it went downhill.

sorry, did we see two different films. Saw it on Saturday with my Brother in law, we both laughed all the way through. very funny and a brilliant twist in the plot.
