Fear of balloons

Does anyone else have this stupid phobia?  People seem to think it's funny when I freak out at balloons but it's not really, honestly they really really give me the creeps. They sound, smell and feel horrible and they have no point or purpose.  Any one have any weird fears or phobias?

driving - even being in a car.

public speaking - even in front of a handful of people.

cockroaches - only the large variety.

having my blood taken - but I used to take other people's blood for a living.

being asked what I do for a living

i can sympathise with Bob a job. I hat hoovers since my brother chased me with one and hoovered my toenail off my foot.

really deep water really freaks me out as well. just thinking about depth. horrible.

heights i'm fine with when i'm climbing etc. but not if I'm on a bridge with gaps in or a raised platform with gaps in or with a barrier thats not solid or that little bit oo low

my biggest strange fear is large machinery esp. pistons. titanic at the cinema was hell in the engine room scenes I had to look away and think about small soft stationary things

a friend of mine can't sit with her back to the door
