James Stewart played a murderer who was a clown once, in a John Wayne film I think, he was scary in that even though he was a bit of a hero in it, his make-up was one of the clues
Postdpg is right.
Every clown face is unique, and may vary (only ever so slightly) from another clown face.
I also believed (like dot) that every clown fack make~up had to be registered somwhere (where?) but I cannot remember anything about a boiled egg,BUT in the world of clowns anything is possible!
PS:~
This page from "Clowns International" says (below Membership Fees) that a clown (in the UK) has to register their makeup (painted on a china egg) and deposit it in the museum at Wookey Hole.
The clown (it seems) keeps another egg, with identical makeup on,as a sort iof guarantee/insurance against anyone else using the same makeup,I presume somwthing similar happens abroad?
So dot you were right,it's just that now it's a chia egg.
