removal of program from start up

hi, does anyone know how to remove a progam from starting up when i turn on the pc? yahoo messneger has updated and now strts up s soon as i turn on the pc, and i cant work out how to stop it from automatically starting up - cant fi nd a menu or optio to remove it anywhere!

yes go to the control panel. its in there somewhere. i use a mac now its much better

Start - run
Type
msconfig
in the box. Click on startup, remove the tick next to Yahoo, click okay, close and reboot.

Control panel/add-remove programs. Find Yahoo & delete
