What happened at Celtic?

Radio 5 have just said that Gordon Strachan has left Celtic. Was he pushed or did he jump? I suspect he was pushed. So, what's the truth? Sacked or resigned?

Don't forget that the wee man has done this before at Southampton in 2004, and given the fact that managing one of the Old Firm involves unbearable personal pressure on their managers from fans who expect nothing but success, it's not a surprise.
The fact is that Celtic should probably have won the SPL again this season but eventually chucked it away to Rangers, an unforgivable capitulation in the eyes of their more fickle followers, therefore Strachan has probably jumped before being pushed.
