People who make the assumption that all homeless are dirty.....druggies....filthy...lazy.....ignorant.....whatever...are totally wrong. They are people who for one reason or another have taken the wrong path. Most still care about themselves and how they loook to the rest of us. They are often well-spoken...and have had eventfull and full lives.
All the 'stereotypes' are all wrong.

Pasta you seem to work around these folk when your giving them something,whether its food or shelter...so of course these guys are going to be happy,humble,jovial and easy going,try chatting to these same folk when they've just run out of beer/drug money and their giro is still nearly 2 weeks away or when they're hungry,intoxicated and down a dark alley and away from the lights and public....................We'll read about you on tomorrows news yeah..........

Oh..i know thatt quite well dingo....but it is necessary to treat them as we would treat anyone else. hopefully what you give comes back.
The charity I work for is a christian one ( tho it is not necessary to be a 'believer' to work for them) -so this is an imprtant part of their aproach to the homeless. Anyway.....I read long ago that we are all just weeks away from the breadline...lose your job.....?..and then what??
