Strawberry jam

I know that Strawberry jam is rather iffy where setting is concerned. If I use T&L jam sugar should I put the lemon juice in as well, presumably the sugar has some sort of setting agent in it?

Jam sugar has pectin added to aid setting you cen certainly add the lemon juice as well if you want a firmer set.

Thank you Naomicorlett. My daughter picked the strawberries yesterday afternoon and within four hours they were processed and the jam was in the jars,I put the lemon juice in as well and it has set very well. Thank you. x
