My Computer - Folders - List of contents

Is there any way to copy and paste the contents of a folder as a list in Word or Excel? I have MP3 files in various folders but just want to print the names of each track into a list for printing out. Thanks

Another is to use the dir command in a prompt window and redirect the output.
sysexporter is easier if you're not familiar with using command lines

agree with vagrant the command pompt is more difficult
but not that bad
first in xp goto
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/p owertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
download and install Open Command Window Here
(some of the others are good too)
in vista just hold down shift
in both
right click the folder you want
a black window appears type
dir /o /s >list1.txt
thats
dir{space}/o{space}/s{space}>list1.txt
(you can actually copy and paste the above text directly into the window
press enter
then look in the folder for anew file called "lists1.txt"
then copy and paste into excel
(data | text to columns)
and away you go
type dir /? to see all the other options
open explorer
