If there are awards for good adverts I would like to nominate the HSBC advert showing the ancient looking Chinese gentleman with his fishing bird, This to me shows more about the possibilities of a good world then you could imagine..... Pure Harmony. Don't like HSBC though for one minute.... Any thoughts? Pete

Through a clerical error on thier part they charged me one month about 25 which I didn't owe. I entered into a long long debate with them and proved thier error on many occasions, they kept saying they would sort it our for me, month after month I kept getting these demanding letters from them and each time I would ring them (Somewhere in darkest India) but still they hassled me.
Finally one bright and sunny day, I got a letter to say it had been finally sorted..... I cut the card up and put it in the envelope and sent it back to them explaining my disgust at how the matter (which was illegal anyway) , had been caused and handled by them I never heard from them again....... Ps I have had cc's and ddc's for loads of years and have Never had to pay anything in the way of interest, I honestly don't know how people get into such a state with thier card management.

On a recent programme I saw it showed that when they've finnished fishing the fishermen give the bird the last fish caught as a reward, in order to give it an incentive for next time.
Also, they aren't hauled back by the string attached to their leg, they just make their own way back to the surface naturally.
