Can one SELL their body to/for Medical Research in
UK and Ireland. ?

I know you can donate my late husband did and I also
have, but there is an ongoing argument (now for some
years) popping up every so often that one gets money,
we never did and wouldn't dream of it ~ the idea is to
help

No, it is strictly against the law for medical schools/research facilities to purchase bodies

Thank you mrs_overall, I was sure of that, and have
literature regarding it (you are given this with the forms
you fill in at the time of arranging this) but no one wants
to look at them, PERHAPS they will read this.

I have to agree with Mrs O,
Donation is legal and to be encouraged.
Selling a dead body,is NOT legal and therefore is to be definitely discouraged.

I know someone who left his body to medical science some months ago, but when his wife died shortly afterwards, this was unable to be carried out. I don't know why, but I know that 3D images are often used now instead.
