I want to put music from the computer onto my Micro SD memory card for my phone, but every time i plug it into the computer using a Micro SD Adapter USB thingy, it says the disk is write-protected. There is no thing to slide on the side on the memory card, as suggested by others, although there is one on the adapter. This one is not locked though, and it still won't work. I can still send things to my phone through bluetooth.

When you connect sd card to computer have a look at properties of card, might be something there that can altered. If that doesn't work copy any files on sd card to computer then re-format card, put files back on card and add music.
look for a tiny little switch on the card to turn write protect on and off.
Open the window of the adapter. Right klik to properties to open - might work - worth a try!
