Insects on Buddleia Bush

Can anyone please help me identify an insect I've been
finding on my Buddleia? It's about �" long, narrow body, mostly orange, and looks spiderish as it crawls not flies about.

According to my British Wildlife Book, it could be a Soldier Beetle, A common beetle found on many wild flowers.
Orangy/reddish and about 8mm long??
Try Googling for it.
