A friend of mine is desperate to get through a divorce, his wife is likely to draw it out as she is on legal aid and living rent free in one of his flats. There are no children, only his disabled brother.
How is the 2 year separation calculated?

from when they start living apart, but if it's under the 2 year rule both parties have to agree to the divorce.. otherwise it's 5 years.
