How valid a reason is it to blame the Q&P section for the slowness of the site on a Sunday

It had never occurred to me that there may be an issue there, but now it has been pointed out that Sundays on here are the worst for the slowness of the site, and of course the worst for people over submitting their threads and replies, is it in fact technically possible that the massive use of Q&P on a Sunday is part of the problem?

This of course does not suggest that those using Q & P are being criticised, no name no pack drill

It is quite possible, Dot. That is not to say that the Q&Pers are doing anything wrong. I originally found this site by accident when looking for an answer to my MOS prize crossword one sunday evening, and just happened to notice cb out of the corner of my eye.
1 across.day of rest . 6 letters.I have s--d-y .........thanks in advance for your replys
I assume as Sunday is a non-work day, more people use the site.
That said tho, what about people like me who, if it's slow, and it has been, stay away. It'd be swings and roundabouts then.
that took over a minute. i'm off again!
