with my first of 3,..........maybe 4 or 5 lunchtime threads including my 'bye now ...i'm off' one!

Tea or Coffee.......in a big mug at home.................with a cup and saucer if out anywhere.........................much more preferred!............but not essential!

my mum is in her 50s and doesnt use a tea cosy but her sisters do it seemed to kind of died out 60s maybe early 70s wondered if it is the end of an era???

i heard zxxee tried to rob a bank wearing one and got badly injured!!!

but when she rn outside and tried to take the tea cosy off

she scalded herself!!

got to have a saucer zzxxee..........where else would I put the fag ash......
I use mugs at all times for coffee (mornings), tea (rarely, I don't like milk but occasionally fancy a cuppa) and green tea with jasmin. I also tend to order large for frappys and hot chocolates at Starbucks... Besides, I think back in the day they used to drink from the saucer and that would look a bit wrong and be difficult to dunk my biccys in to.
