Ford Focus electric window fault

My daughter has a Ford Focus 2002 and the drivers window has stopped working. Can anyone advise of the most common cause, any fuse location or any advice on where to look for the fault? Also, any link to a site showing the window circuit diagram might also be useful Many thanks C G

hi C G cannot help in way youre looking for but if you need new replacement check out Poole Clayton Automotive (makers) I was quoted �160 each for ford maverick, had right and left for �190+p+pfrom P C A all new not recons good luck

Many thanks for the very useful information. We have'nt yet had a try at fixing it because my daughter is a care worker and her car is in use most of the time but we plan to have a go at it soon and when we do, we will certainly make use of PCA for parts.
