How do i check the year of quad bike help?? yamaha blaster

Hi how do i check the year of yamaha blaster i know the chassis number is wrote on the frame an the year is written in it but how do you check it do you work from right to left or vice versa totally confused

Not 100% sure about quads, but on my old Yamaha crosser the manufacture date was stamped into the wheel rims so may be worth a look at them (if not the manufacture date is often on the back of any plastic part) although, obviously, these dates will be for that part, it's normally a fairly safe bet that it will be the same as the date for the whole bike

If not call your local Yamaha dealer and they should be able to check the VIN and tell you a year.
