Went to opticians today for routine eye test, 2 years since last one, now been told she is referring me to Royal Shrewsbury Eye Hospital because of an iffy result on the glaucoma test. Anyone tell me what happens next?

just more of the same though a little more in depth when they do the pressure test up close (uncomfy is all) then if they discover your eye pressure is too high they will prescribe eye drops to stabilise it and prevent worsening. They may also do a field vision test too.

As your previous eye test was so recent is unlikey to be advanced so you are in a good position. Mine was discovered late, which i regret greatly.

Good luck and ask ask ask they will help you.

Thankyou Mamyalynne, much appreciated.
Sorry didnt get back to you but site was down. The likelihood is that you are very borderline and they may recommend more regular eye checks, but also be aware if and i stress if you are diagnosed then am sure you get free eye exams thereafter.
Post again when you have been.
