junk mail

i really am fed up with getting junk mail through my post box
leaflets for double glazeing, pizzas ect
and my local paper the front page read how we should as a town recycle more , i opened up the paper and 12 yes 12 local buisiness leaflets fell out .
junk mail accounts for more rubbish in my binb than anything else anyone else fed up with it or pointless packageing??

Pointless packaging drives me nuts! Especially the stuff that they package things like air fresheners in,it is sealed around all edges and you need really sharp scissors to get into it,if you try and rip it open it ends up slicing your fingers :(

well your local paper gets paid to put the leaflets in, so they aren't going to stop anytime soon. you can register with TPS or TMS (i think) to stop junk mail and calls - and if you don't want the paper ring the distribution department and ask them to stop delivering.

Just got in........lovely day out .....quite warm and sunny here on the south coast.

Site still playing up a bit i see and a little slow.

Yes....junk mail............is a pain in the rectum!.....more trouble than it's worth to get the post office to stop it and even then you wont stop the independents posting EVEN if you have a NO JUNK MAIL on your door!
Straight to the recycling bin for the bear!

Hope you are both well and enjoying your week............been to docs this a.m......feeling dizzy recently... slight ear infection ...........antibiotics given......... to visit nurse next week for a 'clearout'......probably listening and playing too much music on my gigs!( a hazard of the work!) ....or picked up infection from swimming a lot during our recent hot spell, especially!...........but i dont suffer from tinnitus, thank goodness!

It drives me mad too zzxxee, I keep getting religious leaflets through at the moment. I hate getting the kleeneze and Avon catalogues too as I have to remember to put them back out on the doorstep for collection and if I forget they're round knocking the door in the evening.

I hope you're not feeling too poorly yogi and your infection clears up soon ((hugs)) xxx

will register mcfluff thanks for the advice, hello everyone, the worst culprit for junk mail where i live is our local esate agents asking if i want to sell my property the house rank where i live is houseing assosiation, and is listed as rented you think they would no by now the houses have been built for 15 years

Just home now after being out all morning doing this and that!

Was last on here yesterday, merrily chatting away to JJ and then zap..........the site went down so did'nt even bother to look in rest of the day until evening!.........still slow though!

There's nothing worse than having ear ache :o( I hope mrs bear will be looking after you.

I'm fine ta, I have a driving lesson tonight and then I have to pack for going away on Saturday! The weathers not so good here, its been cloudy all day. I hope its nice while I'm away as I brought a few nice dresses.

I know! I kept checking back yesterday but it was down every time I checked so I gave up!

My other favourite bear (Winnie the Pooh) loves honey too :o)

Thanks, I'm doing well with the driving so hopefully not long until my test now!

I'll wear them anyway even if it is freezing lol! I think its meant to be a mixed bag of weather next week.

Ooh, watch the cubs don't find out that you've been sneaking stuff out of their stash! I just had my lunch, a cup of coffee would be lovely right now...
