What Happened

Last night i was reading the threads went for something to eat then i could not get back on the site. I was watching the people with names from Coronation street and enjoying the friendy banter.
This morning i am able to sign in to the site and all the posts have gone.
Has the wedding been cancelled ? was it all a joke and someone did not see the funny side ?

The ED is definitely online today,I reported two adverts in the games section a short while ago and both have been removed.I used the 'contact us' option at the bottom of the page.

My son moderates a number of sites.....this is his official title and he does this along with other moderators. There is always one moderator facilitating at any time and they have clear guidlines and proceedures regarding behaviour on sites. They never interven in squabbles between pixels! It would appear that this site is very unusual in the way that it is run, editors unavailable for comment etc. I suppose what does strike me is the lack of continuity and consistency in removal of posters and threads which would suggest more than one Ed and perhaps poor training regarding the monitoring of the site.

I do take your point, kjc, but the fact is that the Ed can't permanently remove anyone, however annoying he/she may be. He can delete a user's posts, but within minutes that user can sign up again, and away they go. All they need is an email address, which is apparently very easy to create.

Whether that will change with the new AB (or indeed, if it can be changed) - who knows? It would be good if the Ed would clarify the expected changes with the new AB, wouldn't it!

I have never had any trouble with legend (or knobby come to that). I maintain a sense of dignity at all times and ignore them. I mean, why would you want to argue or even converse with a baboon?

I used to argue with legend and knobby, but I don't anymore because it is pointless trying to debate with gibberish. I changed my ways and am now very helpful all round.
