Why don't answer bankers take a little more time & search previous answers both in Quizzes & Puzzles &

I am still fairly new to the site but I always trawl through previous answers, quite often I find them so it saves me asking. Good luck with your crosswords.
I quite agree with you eccles I thought it was only me who thought this. There is some very arrogant people who don't even put the number of the question or whether across or down. Then there is the one's who ask several questions one after the other, when they could have put them all under one batch. Its the same people all the time but nothing gets done about it.
I agree, perhaps they don't know what scroll down
means
I also agree with comments raised. I find it good fun scrolling to find the answers after I have depleted my usual sources of information from the books I have. May you all have fun doing your crosswords.
I agree with all these answers. There are also those who do not put number of letters in answer or any letters they already have. Then there are those pig ignorant ones who never ever say thank you.
I haven't asked a question yet but have offered several replies. It's nice when I've been acknowledged, a simple thank you goes a long way :)
I should have also said those people who ask for a complete answer (i.e. Where Was I? competition). Also, the Sunday Express General Knowledge and Skeleton's complete grids with all the answers are put up for everyone to see on Sunday afternoon. What is the point of doing it for pleasure and sending it in if people can just copy the answers from a website and send it in.
You could always use one of these. http://www.oneacross.com/
because Totterdown there is still that chance of
winning a grand - be it slight, after all we do not know
how the person who won completed the crossword -
but we will congratulate them.

Good luck to everyone
I wish everyone luck with their crosswords but do find it a bit frustrating when someone posts a question with very little information, and then some kind person who clearly has the crossword and doesn't need the full clue or number of letters, gives the answer.
poortony, I take your point. But it is one thing having help with the odd clue, but seems a bit unfair that someone could win 1,000 just by copying ALL the answers from a website. I know we will never know how the winner completed the puzzle but it still seems a bit off that the real tacklers of these puzzles have their chances reduced. Since I found out about this I have stopped doing these puzzles. In fact I do not now get the Sunday Express as the crosswords were the main reason I got it. I still do other crosswords and and grateful for the occasional help with an odd clue and of course answer other people's queries if I can.

LAZY and IGNORANT.
