Im flying with my 10 year old neice to Republic of Ireland in a few weeks.

Her 5 year passport has expired and after checking on BMI baby website, she will be able to fly without photo id.

Could anyone advise if she just brings her birth certificate, would this suffice???

Children aged 13 or below do not require photographic identification.

well their website does state they don't require it, so you would think a birth cert would be fine, why not take the expired passport as well?
