Never even heard of it until now!
I could not lunch with my neighbours without it turning into a really big food fight (or worse).

The council wouldn't let us do it in our cul-de-sac and even if they did we could not have afforded the insurance the council said we had to have.

No I don't think so. I'm not adverse to the lunch but I really don't think I can be bothered with the social aspect, I like to read and eat lunch so no one would want to sit next to me anyway.
gosh, there's one going on in my little road!
never heard of it and i live on a main road so could be problematic

also like China i like to sit and read at lunchtime

Did your council really say that Barry? I live on large development (hundreds of people) in London and the council have been no bother, we even have a bouncy castle planned!

Hello Space....I am originally from your side of the pond......but not quite so far west.
How did you find us ??? there are not that many of you on here.
Hi Hazel104, great name btw :P, I was just reading about this today and it looks like a great idea. I must admit that I hardly know any of my neighbours and only see them while out walking the dogs.
