Cold Calling

Does anybody else have these calls?

The automated one's that ring you at least 4 times a day

How do you cancel them?

I subscribe to BT's service that won't connect somebody who withholds their number. It does cost me, but it is well worth it.

I pretty well never get a cold calling call now.

I leave phone (with open line) so they can chat away alone......they soon stop calling!

I'm TPS registered but sill get auto dialled cold calls. If I'm in the right mood I quite enjoy them, and feel wanted.

Callpreventionregistry costs �35.75 a year is this good or what does BT charge and I am with talktalk so I will have to ask them about this.Anybody else with talktalk who knows about this?

Just register with the TPS. It is free. It takes a few weeks to kick in but does work. In the meantime, tell any caller that you are TPS registered and you should be taken off the database pronto.
