Hopefully someone can help me with this problem.

I was saving a word file on a shared computer and in an attempt to maintain privacy of what i had written (should someone open the document up) i minimized my writing and put in in one of those non-letter fonts.

When i went back to convert it to normal, it wouldn't revert to letters.

So basically now if i can't find some way to convert the symbols i'll have to go through and de-code it letter by letter.

Any ideas are much appreciated. Are there programs on the internet where you can paste in a passage, enter in a decoder (*=U ^=K etc.) and it translates it?

Thanks a lot

so you've just changed the font to one that is unreadable? hardly secure but thats another matter...

just go back to the computer you saved it on, and it should open using that font for the writing. just select all, and change the font back to times new roman or whatever.
This is not an answer to your specific question, just wondered if you are aware that you can password protect documents in most word processing software.

In MS Word the option is in the Tools>Password protect menu,
while in Star Office its File>- Save As and mark Save with password. Save.

Just though it may be easier.
