Image rights

If a film company comes into my work and films me without my permission can they air the footage? The company is CNN and they just filmed an interview at my work and i was wondering if i have any rights over y image as i'm at work?

If you are in the background and out of focus, it would be difficult to prove it was you.

Many times passers-by have their faces blurred out, for the very reason that the TV companies don't want to be sued.

But what happens if i am clearly in focus. Can i then sue them? Or at least get some money from them? Thanks for the answer by the way.

Short answer is NO I am sorry to say. Though it would have been nice if they had told you and gave you the choice to be out or in shot.

CNN would have to have had permission to come in to your place of work from the boss, presumably. So that would most likely cover them.
