Hiya all who are interested in the story of "the cat". We called her Edna. I took her to the vet last night for a check up and she is all ok.

Today I got a phonecall from a lady who had got my number from the cats protection. She came round tonight to see her and it was hers. So cat and lady were reunited :o) She is 17, no wonder she was so sleepy!

Aw bless! Bet you will miss her little face squished up against the door, but at least her owner now knows what happened to her.
Darn it, I was hoping you were going to keep her and turn into a daft cat lady like the rest of us.

Never mind, she might let her friends know (Edna that is)
that you are a kind hearted lady with a warm lap ;-)
Edna will be back.......moaning of noisy music/drugs/messiness and to sleep off orgies.
That is both a sad and happy ending. 17 year old and still off on her wanderings.

Bet you miss her.

Hope you didn't get too attached? Those moggies can get you like that, can't they? I like a happy ending.
Aww Beanmistriss....what a lovely ending....little Edna and owner re-united - wonderful.

However, i'm sure you are missing her...and as Rosetta said it may be that Edna will tell her friends that you have a spare spot for a little fluffy one.

My cat is 16 and i concur that he sleeps most of the day...but come night-time., its a different matter.. ;-o

thank you for keeping us all updated. xx
*Edna*....what a perfect name for an 'old-lady' cat.
So happy that your story has a happy ending.....Yep...bet you miss her!!

we are really missing her actually - lol. Glad she is back with her family though. Thank you so much to you all who offered advice about the situation :o)
Beanmistress you're a star. Happy that little Edna is home with her mum, but sorry you'll be missing her. Perhaps when word gets around the neighbourhood there might be another little face at the window. xxx
