renault megan key fob & immobiliser problem

can anyone help me! i have had to change the batteries in my key fob. for a renault megan (R Reg) now the central locking will not operate and the immobiliser will not work either.... can anyone help???????

I assume the fob will need re-programing, check your handbook other than that the dealership.

Probably a silly question but have you put the batteries in the right way ?

it will probably nead reprograming my vectra has to be done everytime the battery ischanged the otherway is to put the key in the ignition and just turn it on for a few seconds
so the management system recognisesthe key again
it might work worth a try
