saturday night TV is dire and I am quite weary and tired after a long day at work, i'd like to relax and have a blather on CB if people would just consider that there are other users on here who are valiantly trying to ignore the interference.

maybe the symptoms for most people would not be worse than previous, but it is the scale i think, that's why it is a predicted pandemic cos it will affect most countries. i am worried as my immune system is not 100% , plus i work in retailk and handle money and i am always in contact with random members of the public. today i woman was looking at some shoes and then sneezed 3 times all over them!!! she then went to jaques vert and sneezed in the managers face!!!! what choice do we have at work when all sorts of infected idiots walk amongst us and act like ignoramouses

Its only in cases like this that people realise just how unhygienic it is in the real world.

you go to a public loo and touch the handle
50% of people dont wash their hands afterwards
but it only needs one to have touched that handle
and youre carrying their germs

You can blend certain essential oils to get same effect dot - it was done for me and put in a spray when I had my third child -will see if I can find out which ones. Then you have a nice body spray and protection from infection

hand gel isnt that effective with an airborne disease to be fair.

There was another thread about this the other day...it was emphasised that only hand gels with alchohol worked.

no but this is not airborne all the time only when people sneeze or cough! I was also told today that on almost every banknote there are traces of cocaine.

yes this one we have has alcohol in it cos i had to phorocopy the coshh sheets.

Tea tree oil (although does not smell good) lavender, euchalyptus - all good anti bacterial oils

To mix you would use a base oil - google for proportions- as for alcohol have a drink while spraying

Oh the report says Turkey are screening you for swine flu and if you have it you can't go out of your hotel. Fair enough but they must just be screening people if they're ill.

Reports are also saying that people regularly die of flu in this country every year but it isn't reported.

People should take more care of personal habits. I've seen loads of people use the loo and not wash their hands. Makes me cringe especially if they have children and they don't wash theirs either or just use cold water and no soap. Always have antibacterial hand wash in my bag for when I take my grandchildren out.
