RCI Exchanges
We own a timeshare in Tenerife, but don't have our own membership to RCI. We wanted to exchange our weeks this year but had to go through the people in Tenerife and they charged us 160 for the transfer.
Can anyone tell me how much RCI charge for this facility.

But don't forget that you have to factor in the RCI annual membership fee - another 60 per annum at least.
The current fees for an exchange using Dial an Exchange are similar to the above.

If you merely exchanged your week for another at a different time but still at your own resort then in my opinion the cost was rather high. But if you exchanged into a different resort altogether, perhaps in a different country too, then the deal you got was acceptable and RCI would not have been any better an option. The crux is always whether you get accommodation where and when you want your holiday. Availability is not always there. We have had quite a few very good exchanges through RCI, but we have also on occasion failed to get anything at the right time and in the right country. In the case of RCI it is important to deposit your week early and request/book well in advance.
