Once there, you'll see a heading 'Select by TITLE'. Suppose you want to find out about the plot of 'Macbeth', click on the letter 'M'. As it happens, 'Macbeth' is the very first title on the list, so click it. That takes you to a virtually empty page, but click on the pink word 'Next'. That'll take you to a 'Contents' page and one of the headings there is 'Plot', so click on that. Hey presto...you've got the plot of 'Macbeth!
Clearly, you have to go through that process, starting with the opening letter of whatever title you are interested in. Obviously, not every work of literature is covered, but there are several hundred on the website. Good luck.
I know it's not a website but I was bought a book called "Passing Time in the Loo" (no, not that sort of passing on the loo!) and it contains 2 page biographies, summaries of world events, and precis of about a hundred major works of classical and contemporary works of fiction and non-fiction along with a host of other valuable information to help you appear erudite - well worth the investment and easier to read on the loo than an web page ;-)
