Amanda is innocent ... Here's why!
56 Answers
Let me do this logically.
Let me do this
- without personally abusing each other
- without reference to Amanda Knox being attractive
- without discussing lipstick.
Let me take you through each bit of the evidence as adduced at Trial.
I will show you why the evidence against Amanda (and Raffaele, actually) is
unreliable
inconclusive
fabricated
And pray that no daughter of yours is ever wrongly prosecuted in such an awful way.
I will show you why the Italian Authorities are Guilty of an appalling attempt to secure a conviction by lies and innuendo.
This will take me about 12 posts.
Each post will show why a part of the so-called "evidence" is unreliable.
Please do not post until I tell you.

Dear Jack The Hat ...

Whilst this topic has been posted before, I have reposted for this reason.
On previous occasions, some posters have suggested that my confidence in Amanda Knox's innocence is coloured because I have previously referred to her as "Foxy Knoxy".
However, that is not correct.

Jayne i suggest you fly to Italy immediately. You are obviously qualified to clear Knox (poxy btw ) and become a celebrated legal champion.
I can see book deals etc.You are the johnny cochran of answerbank.
Then again. You're not a lawyer trained in Italian law. You're just a 40 something jogger with a bisexual fixation about a rather plain and bizarre you woman from America accused of being party to a horrific murder.
And you so far seem totally uninterested in poor kercher , who was indeed a beauty in comparison to Knox , who was no doubt very jealous of her.
So Rumpole of Brighton i guess its a jog in a tight t shirt a bottle of wine to follow and back to answerbank.
I guess your legal calling has passed you by?
AM I THE ONLY ONE AS BORED WITH JAYNES PRATTLING ABOUT THIS AMERICAN AS ABOUT ANGEL21 AND HER ENDLESS WOE IS ME CRAP ??

Oh, Leggy.
Get over your little obsessions.
I specifically stuck to the evidence ...
Why do you go on and on about this "bisexual" nonsense?
Stick to the facts ... if you can.
As to "not caring about Kercher" ...
Do you think Meredith is helped by the imprisonment of someone who did not take part in her murder?
As to "Italian law" ...
Evidential facts are evidential facts ... whether in English or Italian.
Leggy ...
Meredith's memory is best served by the murderer (Guede) being in prison.
Meredith's memory is not served by some ridiculous, trumped up, case convicting her innocent flatmate.

well i am missing one bit if information, motive, what would it take for one flatmate to brutally murder another flatmate, i havn't heard of any reason this happened that hasn't centered around some sensationalist blourring the truth sex story used to sell newspapers.
Also, if this had happened in England, or the USA, how would this have been handled from an investigation point of view and a forensics point ofr view?

Mrs C, red, dot, etc ...
I do feel strongly.
I typed it all out because I wanted to show the sceptics that my view of Amanda's innocence is not based on sensational journalism, and it is not because I think she's attractive ...
It is based on a thorough look at each bit of evidence ...
... and the deep flaws in every bit of evidence.
Bit by bit, the Prosecution experts have conceded that their own evidence if flawed.
Okay, it might be the wrong knife.
Those are not Raffaele's footprints.
The cleaning fluid receipts never existed.
The DNA samples were contaminated.
The prosecution witnesses contradict each other.
And so on, and so on.
In the UK, the Judge would have probably stopped the Trial by now, and ordered an enquiry into the Police conducy.
But Amanda is stuck in some foreign hell-hole, where the Police beat her, to force her to wrongly point the finger at a suspect whom they had already arrested (Lumumba) and who was also completelt innocent.
The world should not forget her.
And when she is acquitted, the Italian Police must be held up as the incompetent, corrupt shower that they are.
Well ... that's what I think !

Good evening Jayne! My..... we need a squeak squeak pop after all that! : )
What interests me, whether this person's guilty or not - is YOUR perception of the case.
Do you have personal reasons for highlighting this particular tragedy?
Just wondered - no more, no less, because you've brought it up quite a few times now, and you must've spent quite a time pouring over the evidence - or lack of it - and then recreating it for those on AB to read.
Think I'll get a cuppa now - although I wish it was a nice glass of chilled champagne. x

I have no personal interest in Amanda's case.
And each month I send money to a charity for people in the third world, in whom I have no personal interest.
And to a terminal illness charity, for people in whom I have no interest at all, because I don't know who they are.
And to three other charities, helping people and animals in whom I have no personal interest.
And why did we all feel sad when Diana died?
We'd never even met the woman !
And when soldiers die in Iraq ... they're not our sons.
But we still care.
Even when we have no personal interest ... we still care.
Someone has to stand holding the flag.
