We rely heavily on our sense of smell to be able to 'taste' our food.If you have a blocked nose your food will taste very bland.

i have no appitite at all just eating little bits and bobs you know soup and stuff but its so bland and its become more of a chore than a pleasure to eat

but you need to remove it from the box before cooking and eating it
