Depo injection and antibiotics

mccfuff....contrary to common opinion, I have always doubted that there is ever been an interaction or adverse reaction with antibiotics and the pill.

That is a personal opinion.

How does depoprovera affect the action of the antibiotics.

Lil.......there is a SLIGHT risk of becoming pregnant when taking antibiotics, but the question was...." is the effect of antibiotics the same on the oral pill and the depo.........and the answer is exactly the same.

Now if you feel the need to use a condom and the pill whilst on antibiotics that is sensible, but to say antibiotics ...."stop the pill from working and that is definite" is in my opinion.....quite over the top.

Squad, I should know as I got pregnant in this way!!! So by my own experiences, yes it definately does affect the injection from working....I rest my case ;o)
