Easyjet check in suitcase

Is it possible to add a checked in bag to an Easyjet booking but only for the outbound or inbound?

I would like to check in a bag only on my inbound flight but it seems like the only option is to pay for a suitcase at 16 pounds for both flights.

What if I go online during my holiday, after the outbound, and try to check in a bag, will it allow me to only for the returning flight?

The best way to do this is to book the outbound one way as one separate booking with no hold baggage and pay for that. That's one complete booking, once it's confirmed with its reference number, by e-mail from easyJet.

Then, having done that ,make a one way booking for the inbound flight, this time with hold baggage and pay for that, again confirmed with its booking reference.. You then have two separate bookings, each with its own booking reference..You can , assuming you comply with the strict rules about cabin baggage (only ONE piece and of the right size) print your boarding pass online for the outbound, before you go, and avoid checking in at the airport, simply presenting the boarding pass to security (and be sure to still have it when you board the plane! ).

If that is the case (no pun intended) then I have no choice but to pay 16 pounds for both flights as I booked them together months ago and I am flying out this friday.

Then try going to your booking via 'my easyjet' (top right corner of home page). This will show the booking as two legs. There's a facility for changing flight / flight details. Click on to the appropriate leg and proceed to change.It may be that you can remove the baggage part when you do this whilst leaving the flight itself unchanged.When you propose to make changes, the site shows you the new price which you can either accept ,by 'confirm changes', or leave the booking unaltered.

If that doesn't work, I think you're stuck .
