I need 3 x 3 letter words to answer the following:
1. wanders
2. barrier
3. slender
and then the answers are supposed to be rearranged to make a 9 x letter word.
I think its impossible and have been mulling it over for 2 weeks!!!!! Can anyone help.
I also need a 7 letter word from the word
"KITCHEN DEVILS" starting with the letter D.

1) Please make it clear that you only need ONE word, as other people think you need more than one.
2) You do NOT need a word starting with the letter D - the three seven letter words can start with any letter and the letters given are guides only.
3) The other competition may well be called void - the second word is of 12 letters and made up of 3 4-letter words, not 3-letter words as given. I think you should be able to find the 12 letter word easily enough - but again be aware that it is quite possible that this competiton will be considered void (and possibly reinserted in the August edition in correct form).
