Question is two fold: 1. A room is 240 inches long and 180 inches wide, what is the total square metres of this room?

Cost per m2 is �8.99. What is the total cost?

Room is 20 feet by 15 feet, which is 300 sq ft.

1 square foot = 0.09290304 square meters

So room is 27.87102 sq metres.

So cost is 27.87102 X �8.99 = �187.63

If this is a practical rather than just a maths one you may have to consider wastage and the width of a roll (if it's carpet) and stuff like that so it may be more- let us know if that's the case
