Question Author
written agreement not witnessed though
if it's a large sum of money I'd say see a solicitor, otherwise CAB.. or take advice from a Small Claims Court.

i have passed onto debt collection company for them to take the hassle
I'm sure it's not a criminal matter, so I don't see what else you can do.

i know but it is legalised theft it still grinds me down ther should be some law to help out here
Right it is not theft. It is contract law. Your remedy is for an "unpaid debt" through the Small Claims Court. You can do this through Money Claim Direct (online). Once you have got judgement you can enforce through court bailiffs/attachment of earnings/charging order.

i know but my point is it was a large sum of money and she is trying every means possible not to pay as she wants to pay the smaaleest amount ie 75 this is unfair yes it is better than nothing
Getting the judgement is one thing, enforcing it is another. It's by the by, anyway, as you have already sold the debt.

and the moral of the story is...never lend people moneyto you know,. its wrecks frindshps/relationships and that;s what banks are for,. if the bank won't lend it - there's a goodreason why...
My dad gave me a very good piece of advice. Never lend money because you only end up asking for your own money back.
