e-mail 'collection'

I am having problems 'picking-up' e-mails. I keep getting ' no new messages' when I know I have been sent emails, I even send myself some to try to flush -out the system ! Sometimes it can take up to 30 mins for these to come through. My ISP did a ?'pin' test with me 2 days ago and every thing was running perfect technically. Any ideas as to a solution would be most appreciated.

it's e-mail - not a phonecall or IM - sent, scanned - transferred, scanned - de spammed and finally delivered

how long depends on so many things - but it's never instant

Many Thanks , AC , now I know it's not a fault with the system i'll have to be more patient ! Not one of my known attributes. (according to 'er indoors) Thanks again. Back to the crossword !!
