you know i grew up on the border and we never really had any sense of the "divide " the only time it featured was when we went shopping in the north and armed guards were at store fronts. I think the media make it out to be bigger then it is , Cant say it affected me in any way other than great shopping deals!!!

Pinktwink.....I wish I could say the same......on both sides we have lost friends and family......we have inflicted terrible damage on and to each other.........we have left our children with a dreadful legacy......
Time to move on......and hopefully the rest of the world has learnt something from the conflict in NI......

My Father was from England!

As for this present day, I have cousins in Cork, Scotland, Liverpool & London, in Arnhem / Utrecth & Amsterdam in Holland, some in Aussie Land & I am the only one in Belfast as such - my husband is from here.

We spend our time between living here and in our home in Spain, - outside Malaga!
