Good family and good friends stick by you whatever your financial position. If they do not, they cannot possibly be true friends. I went through an extremely hard time through no fault of my own but friends I had during that period were my and my childrens' lifeline and stuck by me and are still friends now. A few decided I was not good enough. They were not good enough for me and I never renewed the so called friendship. If friends desert you because of how much money you have (or not have) then they are not worth it.
Friends are very rare. You will make many aquaintences but a good loyal friend is hard to come by. In regards to family as the saying goes- you can choose your friends but not your family. A good family therefore a close family stand by you what ever the cercumstances. A true friend and a close family stick by you whatever your money situation
