Help please urgently needed. When I try and surf the internet I keep getting redirected to all these sites that I don't want to go to. It takes ages sometimes to get from place to place. It's like a mind of it's own.
It goes to Bing,Smartbizsearch, eBay, Searchpro, etc. and alsoThere is this little pop up also that comes up sometimes telling me my computer is not protected, etc.
Does this mean that there's a virus?
I'm hoping that I won't have to uninstall the whole operating system as a result of this.
Any ideas anyone please?

When you run it you'll see a number of tabs, click on the Updates one and download the latest updates, then try a quick scan. Let it delete anything it finds (your computer may need to reboot to finish the job) and see if that fixes the problem.

I agree with Huderon, you have malware/spyware.
Also download superantispyware, and do a full scan.
If the malware won`t allow you to download the software, you`ll need to use someone elses computer.
Use some external media such as a flash drive or memory card, to download to, then plug the media into your computer and do the scans that way.
