Ok, i have had 2 people seperatly tell me this site is wicked cos u can download songs for free, but whenever i have checked it out there is always a credit card subscription so when they say they are getting it free are they talking about after they have paid the one of 20 fee or are they on about another way of getting them free and just not explaining to me clearly? Reason i am asking is not because i want to avoid paying so much (although free is good!!) but more the fact i dont have any credit or debit cards (and consequently totaly debt free right now too!)
Any ideas?

Most record companies plough most of their earnings back into the company, which is why we have a continual stream of great, new music. (Think of the money needed to produce a continual stream of TV programmes- the license fee and al those adverts..). By illegally downloading you are refusing to pay for something which isn't rightfully yours.
If you are a musician, you must apreciate how amazing it must be to finally get your work recorded and released. Imagine then, if you then lost two thirds of your earnings because of illegal downloading. Gutted. This is also pushing the prices of normal CDs up, so everyone else is suffering as a result!
Anyway, rant over. I use Napster and am glad to pay 79p per track.
