... talking earlier of folk we met on holiday & about the BF's knack of saying the wrong thing & moi misinterpreting it as smutty... Cruising into the Auray River at Bono (nowt to do with U2), we passed a Very British Couple on deck with their G&T's & the pringles. BF shouts out to them "I say - is there a convention around here for picking up boys?". Now, bearing in mind I was below deck, he had on his silly hat with the strap-on & baggy boy scout shorts - it must have immediately sprung to their minds he was some sort of paedophile.... Did they flinch? Did they tut? They did not.. They waved in a friendly manner & just replied I think you can just do what you like around here.... (I was below stairs creasing up - expecting him to be arrested at any time for such a blatant request).
