I've got me code for this tamiflu
7 Answers
but the nearest supplier is 4.9 miles away (because the Irish woman on the helpline had no idea where I lived in relation to the supply centres she gave me one 7 miles away but when i;'ve phoned them they have given me a nearer one) and I can't get anyone to get it til late this afternoon, and they have no way of delivering, I asked what would happen if I had noone at all who could collect it and they've said because I rang the helpline out of my own volition they had nothing to do with my GP and so if I ring my GP I can have a prescription for the tamiflu and have my local chemist deliver it and the code the helpline gave me is meaningless to my GP. that's confused me.

its hardly an inconvenience though is it, a relatively cheap drug made readily available via phone service that may not even require you to get out of bed. and its 5 miles away.
across the world millions of women and children walk on average 5 miles each day in search of water. often the water they find is dirty, polluted and hazardous. unclean water causes diarrheal illnesses such as cholera and dysentery, which kill millions of children every year. their access to medicine is virtually zero, and they have no helplines to complain about, public transport, taxi firms or a mate with a car to drive them or pick it up for them!!!

I was complaining more about the two different ways of obtaining the medication which I hadn't realised existed until I needed it, if I had known how far I would have to ask someone to go out of their way to pick it up, I would have phoned my GP to ask for it, seeing as they supply it through the pharmacy 500 yards from my house.
