Memory foam Matress

Has anyone got any info on the memory foam matress. We have just purchased one and are waiting delivery. Are they as good as they say? Whats more, are they worth the �400 price tag before we open it?

Well alanarmo - you've heard what people've said. Ours was even more than fluffyfeet's - and the reason I'm telling you that, is because there are varying degrees of memory foam quality, which, from what I've heard, can really make a difference, but also the make of it counts as well. I've known people buy mattresses which are basically just mattress toppers, but they've still found them to be good.
These mattresses are beautiful, and although some people report them making you sweat, ours doesn't. Any moisture is drawn downwards, and I can honestly say that since buying it, I've never had such a comfortable night's sleep.
I hope you find the same with yours.

some people do sweat with these mattresses, try one that is "half & half" with memory foam on the top half and the bottom half is made of breathable material.

Personally I don't like them at all, I've stayed on them in friends' houses and found them roasting hot, even though the bedroom wasn't warm, and most unpleasant to sleep on!

we have the tempur foam mattress, can`t speak highly enough of it, admittidly it was not cheap ( about 1400 if i remember correctly, but had it 4 yrs so cant be sure), If like me you have back problems. its well worth paying a bit more and going for the tempur one, it has worked wonders x
