Roof tile slipping

The end vertical row of clay tiles of my pitched roof are slowly slipping down towards the gutter.

How do I remove the lower tiles and refix them without disturbing the surrounding tiles. Do I have to remove tiles up to the ridge?

How are the tiles usually fixed to the roof?
