Thanks so much to everyone who advised me on naming the tracks for my wife's I-Pod.

I have re-named everything in her I-Tunes file, but the software has sorted them all into alphabeticval order!

How can I shuffle them and then sync them onto the I-Pod - or do I do it the other way around?

Advice once again gratefully received.

If you mean you want tracks in a particular order other than alphabetical on your iPod: make a new Playlist in iTunes: you can then move the tracks in to any order you wish in that playlist...

That'll do for me!

Thanks snags!
Try it first before you thank me!
On the iTunes on your computer, the tracks can be listed in many different orders. You are probably looking at name order to see them alphabetically, but if you click on artist or album, the tracks will change order. If you go to 'View' at the top, and then 'View Options', there are loads of different ways of ordering the tracks.

Once you have synced with the iPod, again you can display them in playlist, song or artist or album order on the iPod.
