Further on in section 13, Q13, struggling with that one too...cannot really find anyone who got the same records as Usain Bolt.
I'm also having trouble with section 11. I've got the years OK but the months and days that I can find don't match theirs.....sigh
Ad I think there's a mistake in the letter grid in section14...maybe I should just bin it and be done with it.
:-))

Thank you ladyalex. I'll also put the 3 names down. I am also struggling with the dates, for example, first st leger was on 24th but that is not in the dates given. It is driving me crazy!!!
To be honest I have now done the letter grid yet. For the Usain Bolt question I could not find anyone else who broke those records only that Carl Lewis was the last person to win the 100 and 200 meters at the same olympics. Again I'm not sure what to put on the answer sheet. Thank you again ladyalex for your help.

I've put Carl Lewis down too for the Usain Bolt one, but it's not right, is it? Usain broke both the records, and Carl, though he took both medals didn't break the records. Bah!
Agree with you about the St Leger, also both the first modern Olympics and the Channel Tunnel should be on the 6th, but there is only one 6. (Or perhaps I am wrong.)
Have also found loads of answers for the collective nouns section, eg a pride of peacocks or an ostentation of peacocks, both acceptable..and don't get me started on crows ...i think I found about 6 different collective nouns. Bah again!
Thanks for confirming that I am not entirely succumbing to old age

I know what you mean about Carl Lewis. It isn't the right answer but I cannot find anything else to put.
There are 11 dates I cannot fit in. I either have 2 answers for one date or the date I want is not in the list. I agree about the olympics and channel tunnel being both as 6th so it is not old age!!. I am hoping the quiz setter will void this section.
Good luck with the quiz ladyalex and anymore you are doing. Best wishes. Hellomummy

I've stopped doing it
I couldnt make the dates fit either
I rang and she replied to say in her books she could make them fit
well she cant change history like the crown jewels one for example
Then she said she was lenient so I didnt know what that meant
Then I could find 31 people who won more than one medal in the paralympics so decided enough was enough

has anyone managed to do section 7, the first word is "put" yet? as usual I never get these simple ones!
I agree that I too cannot match the dates up properly in section 11, for example J.S Bach was born on March 21st, but there is no 21st listed, etc
Carl Lewis is the answer in Section 13, Q13, 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay with his teammates.
